The Role

This is a full-time position for an experienced hospitality management professional who has career development in mind. A background in a four/five star hotel setting is highly desirable, encompassing duty management, bar and restaurant supervision, guest administration responsibilities and effective personnel management.

There will be an opportunity to work across the business but we are looking for someone with significant food and beverage experience in particular, as this is an important part of daily duties. Good knowledge of wines, spirits and ingredients is essential, as is an enthusiasm to share that knowledge with guests and colleagues.

Preferred candidates will have good IT skills, and will be confident and sophisticated in their email and phone communications with guests.

Taking pleasure in delivering an exceptional guest experience is key. The ideal candidate will live and breathe customer service at the highest level, and will be unflappable when they are called upon to go the extra mile or solve the unsolvable.

Events Assistant

The Role

This is one role that is available in two possible formats.  Option one is a part-time (20 hours per week) Events Assistant position.  Option two is a full-time position combining the administrative and sales function with operational events work.

Core duties involve assisting the Events Manager with administration, enquiry handling by phone, email and in person, and after a period of training, conducting showrounds of the venue for prospective clients.  The Events Assistant will also be responsible for completing the set-up process for events.  Secondary duties for full-time candidates include assisting at events as a point of client contact, and supporting the Food & Beverage Team where required.

This role would be ideally suited to a recent Events Management graduate looking to build their working knowledge of sales and delivery, or to a Food & Beverage professional with experience of delivering events in a hotel environment.

Preferred candidates will have excellent IT skills, and will be confident and sophisticated in their email and phone communications with guests.  Demonstrable experience in a hotel/restaurant/events venue environment is essential.

Guest Services Team Member

From check-in, to a frothy cappuccino, to the lowdown on the best visitor attractions, we can do it all. The Role

This is a full-time position for an experienced hospitality professional who has career advancement and development in mind. There will be an opportunity to work across the business: from welcoming guests, to making reservations, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner or looking after private events. The successful candidate will be able to move seamlessly between food service, bar service, hosting and administration duties.

Food & Beverage Team Member

The Role

Our Food & Beverage Team is the biggest and busiest in the hotel, working around the clock to keep guests fed and watered. We have positions available for multi-talented bar and waiting team members on a part-time or full-time basis, across a range of shift patterns. You'll be serving and taking care of guests in the bars, dining spaces and event facilities, and we would love to hear from you if you’re someone who has lots of energy for meeting new people.

We’re looking for candidates with previous restaurant service and/or hotel service experience, and bar experience would be an advantage. These roles are not suitable for seasonal and vacation workers - only applicants who are available all year round will be considered. We are open to discussing shift patterns based on individual circumstances.
