It's A Pie World Masterclass & Stay

A Pie making weekend masterclass, learning to make three pies, part of Rufflets Curated Comfort, ‘always on the menu’ range: Boef Bourguignon Pie, Fish Pie and Curried Vegetable Pie.

You will also learn how to plate, garnish and finish your food like a chef, taking detailed notes home so you can recreate the pie dishes to impress family and friends. This masterclass promises to be a recipe packed, fun-filled, inspiring day.


Cooking with your classmates is an integral part of your experience. You will cook some of your recipes in pairs, and some independently – whatever the ratio, there is always more than enough food, and often food to take home too. Your day will comprise of a mixture of hands on cookery and demonstrations performed by the chef who is running the session.

You will be eating the food that you have cooked during your class for lunch, usually with wine or soft drinks around a table.

Your pastry skills will be tested in a 2 ½-hour, hands-on masterclass, where you will learn how to make three of our signature pastries. Start with a welcome coffee and briefing from the Pie Chef, before school begins! You will be taught how to make and decorate your own masterworks from scratch.

Once the hard work is over, you will be able to take home with you, the recipes of Rufflets Curated Comfort range of pies, together with a picture of your experience, an apron and your own pies.
