In addition to religious and humanist wedding services, we are licensed as a civil marriage venue. Our purpose built wedding venue, the Garden Suite can accommodate up to 150 guests for a civil ceremony, reception and wedding meal. The cost of a civil wedding ceremony, including room hire, is currently £500 in the Garden Suite.

Rufflets Lodge, in the hotel grounds, can provide a more intimate setting for a ceremony for up to 30 guests, with the reception room opening onto a private patio overlooking the lower garden. With this option your wedding meal would be served in the Terrace Restaurant. Alternatively, weather permitting, the ceremony can take place in the gardens by one of the little burns or romantic bridges, for a perfect photo opportunity.
