St Andrews Links Winter Golf Package 2013
With guaranteed times on the Old Course!
This three day golf break is priced from £315 per person sharing a twin/double room and includes three nights dinner, bed & breakfast in four star hotel accommodation.

This unique offer gives visiting golfers the chance to play three rounds on St Andrews Links, including a guaranteed round on the Old Course, and enjoy accommodation at Rufflets.
The package also includes two other rounds to be played on two of the following Links courses: the New Course, the Jubilee Course, the Eden Course or the Strathtyrum Course (subject to tee time availability). The Castle Course can be included for an additional surcharge during April and October. Visitors will receive a £15 catering voucher for the Links or Eden clubhouses.
The cost for the golf component only is noted below.
1 January to 28 February: £110 per golfer
1 to 31 March: £150 per golfer
1 to 14 April: £210 per golfer
14 to 31 October: £220 per golfer
1 to 31 December: £120 per golfer
There is a minimum requirement of two and a maximum of 16 golfers per application. The package is not available to commercial operators or third party bookings.
- There is a handicap limit for the Old Course, which is 24 for men and 36 for ladies.
- The Old Course can be booked Monday to Friday, and for the other courses Sunday to Friday. The Castle Course can be booked any day.
- Fairway mats are in use on the Old Course 1 January-31 March and 1 November-31 December. Mats are in use on all other courses from 01-31 January and 01 November to 31 December. Mats will also be in use on The Castle Course 1-31 March and 1-30 November.
- All bookings are on a first come first served basis, and are subject to availability.
The Package
One round of golf per group, per day over three consecutive days. The package cannot be booked if the Old Course is unavailable.
For packages including a Saturday, The Castle Course may be booked in advance; the New Course can be played by checking in with the Starter on a first come first served basis on the day; a 24 hour booking can be made, subject to availability, for the Jubilee, Eden or Strathtyrum by calling 01334 466666 early on Friday morning. Alternatively, the package can be played over four days with no play paid for on the Saturday. If booking this option, any course played on the Saturday will require the additional green fee to be paid to the Starter.
Trolleys can only be used on the Old Course after 12 noon between April and October. Trolleys can be used on all other courses throughout the year. The hire fee for a manually operated trolley is £4, battery powered trolleys are £12.
Buggies may be taken on the New, Jubilee, Eden and Strathtyrum Courses by senior citizens (65 yrs and over) and golfers with a medical certificate and the hire fee is £25. On The Castle Course the same rules of eligibility apply but due to safety regulations, buggies must be driven by a caddie driver. The buggy will be free of charge but caddie fee of £40 plus tip applies. All buggies are subject to availability and suitable ground conditions.

Self-catering golf packages are also available for groups of up to eight people. Prices are dependent on numbers and therefore are available on application.
