Our New Year break in St Andrews, Scotland includes:

MONDAY 30TH DECEMBER
Check-in at leisure from 2.00pm onwards. Settle into your room and familiarize yourself with your surroundings. In the afternoon you may wish to take a stroll in the grounds, explore the historic town of St Andrews, or simply relax and unwind by the Drawing Room or Front Hall fire.At 4.30pm, we will be having a Scottish Country Dancing coaching session in the Garden Suite for approximately 1 hour – so that you can have a chance to learn and practice some of the dances for Hogmanay. Gary Sutherland, our band leader, will be making sure that no muscles are strained!
From 7.00pm a welcome Cocktail Party will be held in the Drawing Room and Library - a chance to meet the management team and your fellow guests. A four-course dinner in the Terrace Restaurant shall follow.
TUESDAY 31ST DECEMBER
Start the day with a Full Scottish Breakfast. Enjoy a day at leisure to explore St Andrews with its' attractive wide streets, interesting craft shops and galleries. Walk along the beautiful sandy beach running alongside the Old Course. Take a drive along the coast to visit the picturesque fishing villages of the East Neuk (one of the most beautiful in Scotland), or visit Tentsmuir Forest & Bird Sanctuary.
Hogmanay Gala Dinner
Festivities begin with a delicious four course dinner followed by dancing to the Gary Sutherland Ceilidh band, a piper welcomes in the New Year followed by traditional black bun and shortbread and the dancing continues until 1.00am.

WEDNESDAY 1ST JANUARY
A sumptuous Buffet Brunch will be served in the Terrace Restaurant between 11.00am and 1.00pm.
1.00pm - 3.00pm: Rufflets Highland Games Challenge.
Always a popular event to help blow away a few cobwebs. A variety of Highland Games will take place on the West Field. Much fun and laughter to be had by all, and always becomes most competitive. Team and individual prizes will be presented in the Bar before dinner.
7.30pm - The Last Night......... A surprise event for the final dinner - sumptuous food, fabulous wines, but with a memorable finish!
Dress - lounge suit.
THURSDAY 2ND JANUARY
Full Scottish breakfast before departure.

The price for the 2013 Hogmanay House Party is £742.50 per person, for the 3 night package, based on 2 people sharing a Classic twin or double room.
Supplements apply for Superior Rooms, Turret Rooms and Suites.
Additional nights - Bed & Breakfast prior to 30th December at £99.00 per person per night in a Classic double or twin room. All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT.
