Our New Year break in St Andrews, Scotland includes 3 nights accommodation with dinner each evening, two full Scottish breakfasts and brunch on New Year's Day, plus activities and entertainment as detailed.
The price for the 2008 New Year break is £585.00 per person sharing a standard twin or double room and £570.00 for a single room. Supplements apply to Turret Rooms and Suites.
We also have Kinness Lodge, with its 4 bedrooms, available for the House Party, which is a perfect option for a group of friends!
Additional nights, Bed & Breakfast prior to 30th December £95.00 per person per night in a double/twin room and £90.00 per night in single rooms. All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT.
TUESDAY 30TH DECEMBER 2008
Check in at leisure from 2.00pm onwards. Settle into your room and familiarise yourself with your surroundings. In the afternoon you may wish to take a stroll in the grounds, explore the historic town of St Andrews, or simply relax and unwind by the Drawing Room or Front Hall fire. A selection of board games will be available.
From 7.00pm a welcome Cocktail Party will be held in the Drawing Room and Library - a chance to meet the management team and your fellow guests. A four-course dinner in the Garden Restaurant shall follow.
WEDNESDAY 31st DECEMBER 2008
Start the day with a Full Scottish Breakfast. Enjoy a day at leisure to explore St Andrews with its' attractive wide streets, interesting craft shops and galleries. Walk along the beautiful sandy beach running alongside the Old Course. Take a drive along the coast to visit the picturesque fishing villages of the East Neuk (one of the most beautiful in Scotland), or visit Tentsmuir Forest & bird sanctuary.
HOGMANAY GALA DINNER
The festivities begin with a delicious four course dinner followed by dancing to the Gary Sutherland Ceilidh band, a piper welcomes in the New Year followed by traditional black bun & shortbread and the dancing continues until 1.00am.

THURSDAY 1ST JANUARY 2009
A sumptuous Buffet Brunch will be served in the Garden Restaurant between 11.00 am and 1.00 pm.
1.00pm - 3.00pm: Rufflets Highland Games Challenge.
Always a popular event to help blow away a few cobwebs. A variety of Highland Games will take place on the West Field. Much fun and laughter to be had by all, and always becomes most competitive. Team and individual prizes will be presented in the Bar before dinner.
7.30pm - The Last Night.........
A surprise event for the final dinner - sumptuous food, fabulous wines, but with a memorable finish!

Full Scottish breakfast before departure.
Golfers may wish to play the Fife Hotels Trophy. This Stableford competition is open to residents on our new year break and is played over any of the major St Andrews courses on the 30th, 31st December or 1st January (Green fees extra).
