Reception & Reservations Administrator

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Front Office Team within Rufflets Hotel.

Working as part of a team and, at times, unsupervised, you will be dealing with the day to day running of the front office reservations and reception desk.

Duties include: taking and processing reservations competently and accurately for accommodation and for the hotels’ 2 Red Rosette restaurant, responding efficiently to all enquiries by email, telephone and fax, managing the busy switchboard, running the reception desk, checking in and out hotel guests, cash handling, dealing with golf bookings. Other responsibilities include maximising revenue through the upselling of rooms and upgrades and other services and maintaining relationships with other key departments such as Housekeeping, Events and the Kitchen.

The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service and communication skills and be able to prioritise and multitask in a calm and effective manner. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, however is not essential.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week on a shift basis 5 days from 7, including weekends.
Shifts are 6.45am – 3.00pm and 2.45pm and 11.00pm so own transport is essential. Sorry, no live in available.

Assistant F&B Manager

Rufflets Hotel in St Andrews is seeking an experienced, dedicated and passionate individual to complement the existing team in our busy F&B department. This role will cover the 2 AA rosette restaurant as well as an award-winning banqueting operation. Reporting directly to the F&B Manager the successful candidate should show initiative, dedication and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Salary depends on level of experience, and short-term accommodation is available.
