Family Accommodation
Rufflets hotel in St Andrews, Scotland caters for families and offers flexibility of accommodation including self catering.
Children sharing a standard Twin/Double room in the main hotel with two adults are each charged £20.00 per night including full Scottish breakfast (maximum 2 children per room).
In our family rooms (see below) charges range from £190 - £285 per room per night, depending on the season.
Rufflets Lodge Family Room - Room 26 occupies the west wing of Rufflets Lodge, fifty yards from the main house. This suite has a master bedroom with king size zip & link bed and a panoramic view of the lower garden, a smaller twin bedroom and shared bathroom with bath and shower, all opening off a private hallway.
Hotel Family Room - Room 8 is a spacious, bright room on the first floor with uninterrupted views over the fields to the north. The master bedroom has an antique, queen size half tester bed and traditional furnishings. The smaller, children's room has two full size single beds with duvets and is more simply furnished. A large, marble tiled bathroom with king size bath and power shower separates the two rooms and interconnects with each.
Kinness Lodge is suitable for larger family groups and has four en-suite bedrooms, sleeping up to eight people. Bathrooms have large power showers with loads of hot water There is a spacious lounge with panoramic views over the garden, well equipped modern kitchen & dining area, utility room, integral garage and small private garden. There is a secure store which is ideal for golf clubs, kids bikes or prams!
Burnside (East) Lodge is ideal for families of four. There are of two bedrooms, one twin and one double, a modern bathroom with power shower, a modern open-plan lounge / dining room / well equipped contemporary kitchen with light oak laminate floor. The lodge offers delightful views over the kinness burn and surrounding fields.
